Spot Canada Loan was founded in 2018 by a small team of fintech and credit-union veterans who were tired of watching their friends and family get stuck in a system that worked against them — long bank queues for the well-credentialed, and predatory APRs for everyone else.
We built Spot to be the middle path: a free, online platform that uses a soft credit pull to match every Canadian — regardless of where they live or what their credit file looks like — with the most competitive offer in our licensed lender network.
